Friends gather with families for Winterfest at West Lake

Families and friends enjoyed winter activities then took retreat from frigid temperatures indoors at the Maple Rest Heritage House at West Lake.
Winterfest at Sandbanks Park was hosted by The Friends of Sandbanks, and included children’s activities, music in a kitchen party with Mark Despault, chili and treats, hot chocolate. Those adventuring outside were cross country skiing, tobogganing, snowshoeing and warming up by the bonfire.
