High praise for teenage artists

The votes are in and the praise is high for teenagers who entered this year’s Liam Garrett Memorial Teen Art Show at the Picton Branch of the library.

Guest judge Marc Keelan-Bishop had high praise for all of the entries, and left his remarks near each photo as he was unable to attend the awards ceremony.

Whitney Shantz, the library’s youth co-ordinator, handed out this year’s prizes, thanking Colleen Green, who provided the prizes in honour of her late son Liam, who was passionate about art.
