The average sale price of a home in the Bay of Quinte region has risen dramatically and the number of listings remains low.
The Quinte District Association of Realtors report the average price of a home sold last month was $291,837 – 30 per cent higher than in February of last year. Meanwhile, the nubmer of listings at 563, from more than 1,069 in February of 2016 is down 47.3 per cent.
“Due to a number of higher-end sales, the figures for the month have been greatly impacted,” said Cathy Polan, association president.” See chart below.
