Hospital Auxiliary marks $3M milestone in donations to County’s hospital

CHEERS! to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary which passed another milestone exceeding $3 million it has donated to the County’s hospital.
All the money donated has historically been used to buy essential medical equipment. In the past year alone, approximately $300,000 was donated and used to buy equipment such as stretchers, smart beds, scopes, an ultra sound machine, sterilization technology and contribute to a new X-ray machine.
All the volunteers, including those at the Second Time Around Shop downtown Picton, the Festival of Trees and the Perfectly Preserved group work tirelessly to raise funds to support the hospital.
The Auxiliary is grateful to the generous community for its continued support of all the Auxiliary’s activities.
