Hwy. 62 collision fatal

A 24-year-old woman has died as a result of her injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 62 on Friday.
Prince Edward OPP report that just before 7:30 p.m Aug. 23, near Crofton Road, a northbound car had gone out of control and partially crossed the roadway. It was stuck by a southbound vehicle.
The northbound driver, 24-year old Autumn Cooke of Belleville, died as a result of her injuries. Details were not available as to any injuries to the other driver.
Bill Dickson, OPP media relations co-ordinator, said the investigation into the collision is continuing, but charges are not anticipated.
