The Prince Edward County Fire Department has shared a recall alert for Kidde brand fire extinguishers sold between August 2013 and November 2014 as they may not fully discharge as designed.
The defect is caused by a valve component. No reports of consumer incidents have been received by Health Canada or Kidde. The extinguishers were manufactured in Mexico.
