CHEERS! to the Scotiabank U9 LL1 Kings team that competed at the Kids for Kids hockey tournament in Kingston on the weekend.
This is the largest house league tournament in Canada with more than 55 teams competing and more than $55,000 being raised for youth charities.
The tournament was recently featured on Hockey Night in Canada and the County team was grateful for the opportunity to compete against teams from all over Ontario.
The Kings had a perfect 4-0 on this weekend. All players showed tremendous hustle, great passing and teamwork, and they represented PEC with pride. Special thank you to tournament sponsors Koopmans Construction and Lammas Excavating for paying the tournament entry fee.
