Liberals entrench 1,800 renewable energy contracts

Ontario’s Liberal government has entrenched the legal rights of 1,800 proposed renewable energy contracts – making it impossible for a new government to cancel them.
This outrageous action signals that the McGuinty government anticipates being defeated in the upcoming election. They have decided to ensure that rural Ontario residents will be punished for planning to vote against them.
This decision by the McGuinty government makes it even more critical for naturalists to increase their opposition to the Gilead Ostrander Point project to ensure that it is rejected on its merits.
Please visit www.pointtopointpec.ca and vote on your choice of the future use of Ostrander Point: (A) wind turbine complex or (B) protected wildlife area.

Let me get this right: you say that the Liberal government is wrong to honour its legally-binding contracts??!! That is strange logic…
Imagine that a democratically elected government doing what if promised to do and you call that outrageous. I would suggest there is something outrageous going on but it is not what the government is doing.
