Mobile vaccination clinics in Wellington, Consecon and Picton Aug. 22-31

Individuals born on or before Dec. 31, 2009 who are looking for their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine can walk in to a mobile vaccination clinic in Wellington, Consecon or Picton in the next two weeks without an appointment.

The mobile vaccination clinic schedule is as follows:
Sunday Aug. 22 – 10am – 1pm – Wellington Park, 251 Wellington Main Street, Wellington (if raining, at the Consecon fire hall)
Tuesday Aug. 24 – 1pm – 3pm – Consecon Park, 25 Porter Street, Consecon
Wednesday Aug. 25 – 1pm – 3pm – London Ave parking lot 26 London Ave, Picton
Tuesday Aug. 31 – 10am – 1pm – Giant Tiger parking lot corner of Elizabeth St and Picton Main Street, Picton

The clinics will be run by Hastings Prince Edward Public Health and will offer both the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines (subject to availability). No appointments are necessary and include 11-year olds who will be turning 12 in 2021).

Individuals requiring their second dose should be mindful that a minimum of 28 days between doses is required. Bring photo ID and your health card.

Come prepared for the weather and the potential to wait by bringing water, an umbrella, and wearing sunscreen and a hat.

The walk-in clinic at the Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street) is still available for residents to receive their vaccinations without appointments. Hours for this clinic are:

Monday Aug. 23 – 9:30am – 2:30 pm
Thursday Aug. 26 – 9:30am – 2:30 pm
Monday Aug. 30 – 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
Monday Sept. 13 – 1 pm – 7 pm
Monday Sept. 27 – 1 pm – 7 pm

Pop-up COVID-19 Vaccine clinics are also available:

Aug. 23
Trenton – Centennial Park Amphitheater – 9 to 11 a.m.
Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) – 1 to 3 p.m.

Aug. 25
Eastminster United Church – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Aug. 26
Quinte Mall – 12 to 6 p.m.
29 Adrian Court, Trenton – 10:30 a.m.to 12:30 p.m.
30 Annwood Court, Trenton – 1:15 to 3:15 p.m.

Aug. 27
Madoc Skate Park Arts Building – 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
West Zwick’s Island Park – 3 to 6 p.m. North-east of tennis courts under trees. Weather permitting
Quinte Mall – 12 to 6p.m.

Aug. 28
Marmora Farmer’s Market – 8 to 11 a.m.
Quinte Mall – 12 to 6 p.m.
West Zwick’s Island Park – 1 to 6 p.m. North-east of tennis courts under trees, weather permitting

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Thursday – 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday – 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Saturday– 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Aug. 24 – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m

Residents can also receive their vaccination at participating local pharmacies, by contacting the pharmacy directly.
