New walking path opens at Wilkinson Memorial Park

A new walking path is open at Wilkinson Memorial Park (2699 County Road 8) and visitors to the park can now enjoy the 0.5 kilometre crushed granular walking trail along with:
A shade structure providing a comfortable gathering space.
A concrete dance floor
Amour stone seating located along the walking trail.
In celebration, the North Marysburgh Recreation Committee plans to host a ribbon cutting event and concert at Wilkinson Memorial Park on Sunday, Aug. 30 at 6 pm. The concert is to take place from 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. featuring Secret Beach.
Note: The County reminds additional construction continues at the property. The playground equipment will be closed until Tuesday, Sept. 1 as crews work to install the new water system at the North Marysburgh Hall.
