OPP investigating crash – road closed for afternoon

Prince Edward County OPP are investigating a single vehicle crash Tuesday at about 11:50 a.m. on County Road 3 (Rednersville Road) in Ameliasburgh.
The vehicle struck a hydro pole, causing the pole to collapse. Hydro is on the scene. About 158 residents were without power. County Road 3 was closed for repairs between Onderdonk Lane and Heritage Estate Drive – expected to re-open between 3-5 p.m.
There are no reported injuries. The investigation continues.
