Overnight snow removal Jan. 22 – 24

The County plans to remove snow overnight along roadsides in Picton, Bloomfield and Wellington on Thursday, Jan. 22, Friday, Jan. 23 and Saturday, Jan. 24.

Snow removal will begin on Picton Main Street, followed by Bloomfield and Wellington.

Crews will start snow removal along roadsides beginning at 7 pm each night and will work until approximately 5 am. This work may cause increased noise levels.

Residents are asked to refrain from parking on the streets in these areas after 7 pm to allow for an easy snow removal process. Please be advised that there is zero tolerance for violations of the winter parking restrictions. Vehicles obstructing snow removal operations will be towed at the owner’s expense.

The municipality reminds residents of the overnight parking restrictions in effect on all Prince Edward County roads until March 31, 2026.

The overnight parking restriction includes all municipal parking lots, except in these areas posted with winter parking sections:
Mary Street parking lot (Picton): Spaces in the first row to the Ieft of the entrance are designated for overnight parking.
55 King Street parking lot (Picton): Parking is permitted along the right side of the lot on even-numbered days and along the left side of the lot on odd-numbered days.
