Paul Street repairs continue Monday

The County’s Water and Wastewater Department’s emergency repairs from Friday will continue Monday as a result of a water main break on Paul Street in Picton.

Repairs are set to begin at 9am, with an expected completion time of 6pm.
Paul Street may be closed between Main Street and Market Lane for the duration of repairs. Motorists are asked to avoid the construction area if possible. School bus routes may be affected.

The repairs are not expected to impact water quality; intermittent pressure fluctuations with periods of partial or complete loss of pressure or coloured water may be experienced by residents on Paul Street between Main Street and King Street.

To address pressure loss and the potential of coloured water, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once maintenance is complete and regular water service is restored.
