Partners Pitch-In to clean up the County

“Several kilometers of ditches were cleaned, more than 150 rain barrels were sold and hundreds of pounds of electronic waste were collected,” she said. “A special thank you to our community partners – working together does make a difference.

Some County residents continued collection Sunday. Agnes Toews Andrews, of The Alternate Ark Centre, invited helping hands to clean up garbage found amongst the flowers at Point Petre. Six bags of garbage were removed. Volunteers enjoyed a tofu dog roast and marshmallows over a fire afterward. CHEERS! she notes, to the kind contribution of dry maple firewood, from Allan, on Cty Rd. 18.
