“Several extremely talented PECI students have been working for months to put together a fun, entertaining and engaging performance for the whole family,” said Matthew Sheehan, department head of the arts. “We really wanted to put on a show that would reach the kid in everyone – children, teenagers and adults.”

In PECI’s version, Rudolph is a girl who must pretend to be a boy to live up to her family’s traditions.

“Though hilarious and touching, the play really gets to the heart of the dangers of gender roles, the dangers of close mindedness, and the horror of progress at any cost – in the form of a real estate developer who wants to knock down the North Pole to build luxury condos,” said Sheehan.

A matinee performance is being held Thursday. The show continues Friday and Saturday nights at 7p.m. and Sunday at 1p.m. Admission price $5.
Important note: The play is being performed in  gym A which is at the back of the school. Visitors should park and enter at the back of the school, not the front.
