Public asked for input on school board budget

Public consultation about the coming school board budget for 2025-2026 continues to Feb. 17.
Public input is being sought as senior staff engage in the budget planning process for the 2025-2026 school year. HPEDSB invites the community to participate in a ThoughtExchange to ideas about the budget for Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board.
The board notes it is a chance to let school board officials know what’s most important to the public, and guide the budget-planning discussions.
The three areas of focus for HPEDSB are reading, math and credit accumulation (at secondary school). These areas of focus align with the Ontario Ministry of Education priorities.
