Donations of new and gently used books will help The Children’s Book Bank put “A book in every child’s hand.”
The project, by the Written Word Committee of the Prince Edward Arts Council, is designed to support children’s literacy by providing free books to children.
The Children’s Book Bank will focus on the literacy needs
of children ages 2-12 and will work to support and develop each child’s interest in and success with reading.
On Wednesday, Dec. 1st, new and gently used children’s books will be welcomed in bins at the Canadian Tire Store in Picton.
