Quinte Conservation has launched a new strategic plan to take the local environmental agency into 2020.
“Our mission is to create a sustainable ecosystem where people and nature live in harmony and our vision is for the Quinte Region to be the premier ecologically sustainable watershed,” said Jennifer May-Anderson, Communications and Marketing Assistant. “Since our first strategic plan for the period of 1996 – 2010, we have increased our staff complement of experienced environmental specialists enabling us to achieve many notable successes with our partners.”
The organization will work toward its new vision through creative and value-added funding, comprehensive conservation management, an aware and involved community and growing and connecting expertise.
Part of the new plan involves creating a new logo for the organization. Members of the public are welcome to submit ideas and input by emailing logoideas@quinteconservation.ca.
