There are more than 50 teams registered for the first Prince Edward County Relay for Life June 11 at the Picton Fairgrounds. The task of keeping everyone awake, alert and energized from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. has been taken on by the entrepreneurship class at PECI – including Konstantin Gottl, Christian Kristalyn and Marcy Mattinson. This includes organization of “Theme Laps”, the “Youth Zone” and the “Relay’s Got Talent” show. Challenges include a potato sack race, monster twister, a three-legged race, rooster ccall, toilet paper fashion and team site decorating. Amber Martin photo.
