Road line painting begins
Administrator | Jul 26, 2026 | Comments 0
Painting of yellow and white centrelines, as well as urban pavement markings throughout the County, is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 27.
Urban pavement markings include parking stalls, directional arrows, stop bars, and other roadway markings.
Line painting is weather dependent. Most work will take place during the evening and overnight hours. Minor, short-duration traffic disruptions may occur during painting operations. Minimal noise is expected, and work vehicles will be equipped with orange flashing lights.
The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 14, weather permitting.
Drivers are reminded to obey all closure signs, pylons, and warning vehicles. Wet traffic paint may splatter onto vehicles if crossed before it has dried. Drivers should not cross the centreline when approaching a line painting crew.
