Rough patch through Sandbanks to be repaved

Cyclists, motorists and hikers will have a smoother ride on a portion of County Road 12 through the Sandbanks as Prince Edward County council has approved rehabilitation and drainage improvements for a portion of the heavily worn road.
Tuesday night, council approved a $790,444 tender from Fidelity Engineering and Construction to fix the approximately 1.3km stretch between the West Lake Dunes day use area to Lakeshore Lodge Road within in the park.
