Myles Jarvis, of Picton, used his Phantom 3 drone to capture students and staff at Queen Elizabeth Public School in a special a photograph to appear in the school’s final yearbook.
As the school prepares to close its doors for the final time, it invites former students to celebrate friends, memories and fun Thursday, June 14 at 1:15 p.m. in the auditorum, followed by an open house from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
The changes were finalized last June by the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board. This year Queen Elizabeth School welcomed younger students from Pinecrest Memorial in Bloomfield which closed in June 2017. The Grade 7 and 8s moved to Prince Edward Collegiate Institute. This coming school year, all QE students move to become Junior Panthers at PECI as it becomes a K-Gd 12 school.
