Ryerson conducting County tourism survey

Ryerson University invites business owners and managers to participate in a survey about tourism development and sustainability in Prince Edward County.
“Tourism development in Prince Edward County has received much attention as of late and affects many aspects of the lives and busisnesses in the County,” says Soyoung Ko, research assistant with Dr. Dodds, associate professor at The Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University.
“The development, contribution and impacts of tourism in the County have become the focus of many studies. Ryerson University has been supporting research through several research and consulting projects including: The Emergence of Culinary Tourism in Prince Edward County (2006), Prince Edward County Agrifood and Tourism Market Study (2007), Winery Visitation in Prince Edward County (2007), A User Assessment of the Prince Edward County Taste Trail (2008) and Cultivating Rural Creativity (2009).
“We are now conducting a study to assess the views of stakeholders on current tourism development in the County. There are approximately 20 questions and the survey should take no longer than 7-10 minutes.”
