Section of Picton Main to be closed Sept. 30 to Oct. 4

Picton Main Street from Spencer Street to County Road 6 is to be closed from Monday, Sept. 30 through to and including Friday, Oct. 4.
The closure involves the installation of the underground services in a restricted section of the road allowance north of Spencer Street. The detour route is the same as the alternative detour route currently in place.
Southbound motorists can travel County Road 6 to County Road 5/Johnson Street and back to Picton Main Street.
Northbound motorists can travel from Johnson Street/County Road 5 to County Road 6 and back to Picton Main Street.
Signage is in place.
Local traffic using Picton Main Street south of McFarland Drive and Spencer Street will be permitted. Access will be maintained for properties on both sides of the closed section of Picton Main Street.
