S’no much fun at Waring House Family Day

Horse-drawn carriage rides with Blaine Way were the highlight of Family Day activities at The Waring House Sunday afternoon.
Waring House, at the round-a-bout in Picton, invited all to an afternoon of free activities including three-legged races, obstacle courses, the wagon rides and ice skating on its new garden rink.
Under mostly sunny skies, but frost February temperatures, chilly participants warmed up by the outdoor fire pit and enjoyed lunch in the pub. Guests leaving the wagon ride remarked they were heading “straight to the hot tub”.
The new garden ice rink is open free of charge every day from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
