Students show support for United Way

Loyalist College President and CEO Maureen Piercy, students from the Public Relations post-graduate program, and members of Loyalist student government presented $18,659 to Judi Gilbert, Executive Director of the United Way of Quinte. The campus campaign began in October with a pancake breakfast and concluded with a product sale organized by Loyalist Public Relations post-graduate students. Additional donations from employees and Loyalist Student Government rounded out the campaign. Among the County based programs supported by the United way are: Alternatives for Women, Community Living Prince Edward, The HUB Child and Family Centre and the ROC.
