Suspicious male observed on school property

Prince Edward County OPP detachment officers were called C.M.L. Snider School in Wellington regarding a report of a suspicious male on school property, Friday, Oct. 3.
The male was described as: Caucasian, approximately 60 years of age, white hair, slender build, wearing dress pants and shirt and was seen carrying a metal can.
Const. Anthony Mann, PEC OPP Community Services officer said the OPP is looking to identify this man and are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to call 1-888-310-1122. All school visitors are to report to the front office during regular school hours. No other person should be on school property.
He encourages everybody to be aware of their personal safety and surroundings at all times, and remain vigilant in reporting suspicious activity.

I live right by CML. And my kids go there,, I have seen the man fitting the exact same description metal detecting there a few times, could it be someone seen him carrying a can that he dug up and was taking to the trash? Still not right for him to be walking around school property during hours. I metal detecting there as well but only when school is out for summer break. I hope this man does not ruin it for people that show respect like myself.
Makes me shake my head..What is happening to our community. My mother taught at that school. Her legacy she instilled on so many folks in the county has absolutely NO room for even the thought of this man praying on children…
