All-Round baseball champ denied competition she deserves

My daughter has competed in Aquafina Pitch hit and Run for the past 8 years. This is a skills competition that major League baseball sponsors. In previous years my daughter has competed along with the boys and last year won All Round Champion and Pitching Champion. This year, Aquafina/Pepsi has introduced a new rule that states Boys play baseball and Girls play softball, NO EXCEPTIONS.
My daughter does not play softball here, she plays in a co-ed baseball league – with all boys. My daughter would like only the choice in the rules to change. The event, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed to Tuesday May 11 in the evening.
Aquafina has said that there will be no rule change. I have spoke to all the papers
in my area and all of the radio stations. It is now time that I take this to the next
level.

About the Author:
Shae-Lynn completed the sweep winning all the events with a 833 score only in softball. She was not allowed to participate in the baseball competition and have the scored posted, unfortunately. We are headed to Port Hope on Sunday to participate in the second stage of the competition.
