Picton Kiwanians put the leaderboard fish in a live well.

Danny Craig, of Picton, arrives at the Picton Marina to weigh in his Walleye Saturday morning. He was fishing from the boat and motor he won in the 1996 Kiwanis Fishing Derby and was back to look for another win with Jeremy Craig, Aaron and John Triemstra, of Barrie. Excellent weather has brought thousands of anglers to the Bay of Quinte for the 31st annual Kiwanis Walleye Weekend.

A "chip truck" was open for the first time during the derby, serving up Italian sausages, burgers and fries. The friendly, familiar servers are Luanne Kozmauk and Colin Newcombe. Phil Norton photo. www.countyphotographer.com
