Athol-South Eagles soar to second district title this year

Athol-South Marysburgh Eagles marked their second district title this school year – this time capturing the HPEDSB Intermediate Boys Volleyball District Championship.
After a tough opening loss to Foxboro Public School (14–25, 23–25), the boys came back with dominant wins over Trenton High School (25–15, 25–15), Stirling Public School (25–7, 25–11), and Harry J Clarke (25–18, 25–8).
In the semifinals, the Eagles beat Stirling Public School 25–17 and 25–20 to secure their spot in the final. Facing Foxboro once again, the Eagles proved unstoppable, winning 25–17 and 25–13 to claim gold!
Coached by Andrew White, teamwork has paid off for Remington, Noah, Elliott, Logan, Matthew, Nico, Rhys, Declan, and Jack.
Athol-South Marysburgh Eagles won Intermediate Boys Soccer district level play in October.
